Order and pay the deposit within 5 days of receiving the quote to secure your booking.

All Cakes must be paid in full 1 weeks prior to collection or delivery, to avoid cancellation. We have to make this rule as some cakes come with Handmade components which need to harden & can't be done at any shorter notice.

DELIVERIES as from February 2024

We will ONLY be delivering large cakes & wedding cakes during Friday/Saturday only. All other cakes must be collected from our studio from Wednesday - Saturday.

We can deliver anything else on Wednesdays & Thursdays only, rates do vary depending on delivery address.

Pick up is FREE

(all large 3 tier plus and wedding cakes are delivered only with no option to pick up) this is because we put so much time into our cakes & would be just as upset as you if they did not arrive how they left the studio :)

SECURING YOUR BOOKING

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order.

Once a quote is given you have 5 days to pay the deposit. unless prearranged

If you haven't made contact & a deposit within the 5 days, the booking is void.

Also if your booking isn't paid in full 7 days prior to the booked date, your booking is void.

As we are now a very popular, busy cake business we can't afford to have muck arounds, as we turn down many cakes every week.

Cancelling or postponing your order 

As the planning, quoting is timely, your deposit is NONrefundable. If you cancel your order with more then 2 weeks notice we will refund the total minus the deposit & any items we have purchased for your cake. If your order is cancelled with less then 2 weeks, there will be no refund. We are limited to how many cakes we can make weekly therefore we turn down many cakes every week.

We try to keep our calendar up to date, however some times dates maybe booked & website calendar isn't updated, we apologize for any confusion this may cause

Picking up? Once you have picked up, the cake is yours! We cannot be held accountable for any accidents

All large wedding cakes & large cakes with 3+ tiers will be delivered, with no option for pick up. Hawke's Bay only.

We offer this service because we put so much love & care into our cakes & would be upset if it got mishandled & ruined before it got the chance to get demolished by mouths.

Rubylicious Cakes reserves the right to take photos of their work and use them for advertising purposes. This includes photos taken on site at venues. The photo may be used in advertising and on social media but only after the event has taken place.
